About Me

I'm a Mexican-American multi-instrumentalist born in Texas with a background in arranging and recording. I've been playing music since the 6th grade, and I have a deep passion for jazz, video game music, and latin-american culture. I've learned how to play trumpet, tenor saxophone, guitar, piano, as well as sing. Each day I learn from other amazing artists in the world and I'm inspired to find ways to mesh my passions to make something new.

I went to The University of Texas at Dallas for my undergraduate degree and I double majored in Arts, Humanities, and Technology and Visual and Performing Arts. In college I engaged with music clubs Strings Attached and Dallas Music Outreach and started playing/performing music with friends more. I also continued my passion for recording audio and video by producing several different music projects with my talented friends. In 2023 I started The Fire Frets, a band I formed with some of my friends where we play a mix of indie and progressive rock.

Today, I continue to take my skills and apply them to whatever project calls next, whether that's an arrangement, a performance, or a video. I wish to improve my skills as a jazz arranger and performer, and I hope to be able to play music around the larger DFW area.
